Continuing the musical theme here at FatKidOnFire, I’d like to present another mixtape for your audio enjoyment. Distancing ourselves from the bass of Ropper’s dirty dubstep mix, the next mixtape is by a young Scottish producer and electro/ house DJ. I spent my high school years in Scotland with Robin Dunne, who is now a Glasgow University student playing all over the city. Here’s a short bio from the main man…
Robin Dunne is a electro/ house DJ, who has spent the last two years DJing in and around the city of Glasgow. I have played in Subclub and Buff and have worked with the Subcity crew. I’m also responsible for booking DJs and bands for the big events at Glasgow’s student union, where I am also a resident DJ.
If you’re ever in Glasgow make sure you catch one of my legendary secret headphone discos!
This mixtape is definitely one to get on the stereo before a night out, it’s got some weekend vibes floating on! It’s Sunday but I’m already annoying my neighbours wobbling up the walls getting my bedroom dance ting on 😉
- Robin Dunne – Rockness 2010 song
- Dan Black – Symphonies (Hot City remix)
- Afrojack – Pon De Street
- Les Gillettes – Pompeii (Boy 8-bit remix)
- Scenario Rock – Skitzo Dancer (Justice remix)

- Beni – Maximus (Harvard Bass remix)

Robin’s putting out a mix a month, so I’ll link them up here and let you guys feast on the audio goodness. Head over to his Soundcloud and give some of his other mixes a go. His remixes are definitely worth a listen, my personal favourite being his chilled mix of Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Juicy’. Amazing stuff!

I hope you all have a happy Easter (what’s left of it anyway), thanks for all the continuing love and support =)
Peace, love and respect
