It’s been a while since we last did an “Out and About” post here at FatKidOnFire HQ. Things have been fairly hectic with all the project pies we’ve got our fingers in but luckily for us (and you guys) we’ve got a bit of time off next weekend and are looking to make the most of it. That’s where Eight:FX and Arcadia (formerly the Arches at London Bridge) come in…
Find out more after the jump
You read that right. Next Friday (15th October) will see the launch of bass-loving record label Eight:FX’s monthly residencies at one of the best underground (quite literally) venues in our great capital city. London’s incredible new Arcadia venue (the all new re-fitted Arches), with its unbeatable soundsystem and state of the art visuals, will see Virus Syndicate, MRK1, Cyrus, Bare Noize and many, many more insanely good bass heavy producers and Djs tear it up throughout Friday night and well into Saturday morning (10pm-6am). If you want a sneak peek of what the Arcadia venue is looking like hit up their Facebook photo album and take a look – one of the nicest clubs in London in our opinion!
[Steep opening for Diplo at the Arches at the start of September]
Tickets are £6 all night if you can be bothered to print the flyer out, or you can email Josh for the guestlist (which is also £6). Guestlist is open until Friday morning of the 15th so you’ve more than enough time to send that email for reduced entry! Failing that, get your tickets from Fatsoma or part ways with the best part of a tenner on the door. Hit up the Bass:Dace Facebook event page for any futher info necessary.
See you there!
