New Music

Justify took over the FatKidOnFire New Music posts late last year and has turned them into a regular recap of some of the best new tunes around. This week marks the 25th in the series, and there’s some proper wicked tunes in the collection. Here are some of the newest tunes we’re feeling at the moment…

FKOF - New Music

Kodec’s ‘Frame’ [dub]

Something a bit different to start this week’s New Music. Fresh vibes from Belgium’s Kodec!

IZ Sounds’ ‘Moonshine’ [forthcoming]

This one fits at home on the stereo or in the dance on the system – can’t get much better than that. Lovely tune!

DyAd’s ‘Polo’ [dub]

FKOF fam DyAD appeared on the latest Chestcast – and with tunes like this it’s no surprise. Big, big riddim!

Elefant Doc’s ‘Tonality’ [dub]

An intense sub workout and some funky key placement make this one a must listen. Vibes!

Cris Fern’s ‘You Must Go Now’ [dub]

Another chill 140 production this week, and Cris Fern is becoming a regular in the New Music mentions. Jazzy brass, guitars and a killer percussion line. Wicked.

Alive’s ‘Africa’ [f0rthcoming Dubtribu]

This one forthcoming on Dubtribu Records next month, mastered by Benny Ill. Looking forward to the release!

Piezo’s ‘Antelope Swing’ [dub]

Trust someone like Piezo to come up with something like this. If you want complex tribal percussion, you’ve come to the right place. Technical madness!

Subreachers’ ‘Traffic’ [dub]

This one’s brand new from FKOF fam Subreachers. An absolute stomper!

ElJay’s ‘Rise And Fall’ [dub]

ELJay’s a relatively new producer (to SoundCloud anyway) who we’ve recently discovered. Tracks like ‘Rise and Fall’ will get him noticed pretty quickly!

Gewze’s ‘Meditation’ [dub]

Ending on a high with Gewze’s latest one. First drop is a madness!

Peace, love and respect.
