New Music

This week sees the (slightly delayed, forgivable – given he’s gearing up for an event with Youngsta next week) latest instalment of Justify’s New Music round up here on FatKidOnFire. This is our 30th New Music, featuring a carefully curated recap of up and coming producers that we’ve been enjoying…

FKOF - New Music

Knowmad’s Spooked [dub]

No release plans for this as far as we’re aware – but that’ll change pretty quickly. Second drop is a madness!

J.Robinson and Knowledge’s Lazy Dub [dub]

This one’s anything but lazy! J.Robinson, Knowledge and the Tribe12 crew making moves. Watch for the all new WHODEMSOUND as well…

Kronix’s Tundra / Apache [forthcoming USV Recordings]

The sub on Tundra is a chest rattler! Apache ain’t half bad either… Kronix returning to USV Recordings with two big tunes! Release date TBA.

207’s Electrical Impuluse [dub]

Nice mids, awesome percussion and absolutely wicked atmospheres. Great work from Croatia’s 207!

Dead Room’s Land of Fires [forthcoming Phantom Hertz Recordings]

A techy roller from Dead Room and PHZ, this one’s out alongside Evoke on the Downtimes release next month.

Cris Fern’s Connections [dub]

We rate Cris Fern, if you’ve been following New Music you’ll have noticed that already. This new one’s a good indication of why. Cannot wait to hear this played out!

Sinister’s Book of the Dead [Free]

Dreaded out half step weight. Eyes down, hoods up music from Bath’s Sinister!

Kismet’s Clarity Dub [dub]

New dubby stepper from Kismet, nice and simple. Lots of space around Clarity Dub, enjoying the reverb’d percussion hits.

Daega Sound’s Under Pressure [forthcoming TUBA]

TUBA on the march again with another militant release. Daega Sound’s got three tunes on a 12″ with the Brooklyn-based label in the next few weeks. Watch out!

The Illuminated’s  Eindhoviah [Underslung Audio]

This was a firm favourite from The Illuminated’s Expect Us EP on USL; and is making a well-deserved appearance on the label’s first compilation CD. The First Encounter is out 11/04/14…

Argo’s  FKOFd007

Last, but definitely not least, is our latest release on the FKOF digital label. Argo and Living Proof’s FKOFd007 is out (exclusive to Juno) from 07/04/14…

Peace, love and respect.
