Another week, another long overdue instalment of our very own Justify’s New Music. After the success of his FKOF Presents event in Birmingham last weekend, Justify is back on a roll with our 31st New Music, which features a few of the new tunes we’re feeling…
Fiend’s Venus [forthcoming Dubtribu Records]
Not much to say to this one. Absolutely amazing tune. Old school vibes with a new flavour. Win! Can’t wait for the producer’s debut on Dubtribu…
Taiko’s Stick Fight [dub]
Taiko is one of the few producers who never really disappoints with his music. Stick Fight is definitely no exception. Mad rhythm and weight. Definitely one to watch for in the dance.
Night’s Lost City [dub]
We’ve long been fans of the Liverpudlian producer Nights, since we discovered him as his debut on Chicago’s Car Crash Set dropped. He was kind enough to sort us a mix back in the day and he’s still producing his signature sound some 8 months later. A producer to watch with interest…
DT’s Vortex [dub]
We don’t have enough wobs in dubstep anymore. After hearing this one from Sub:Conscious’ DT we’re full aware of what we’ve been missing. Large tune!
Shiken’s Recursion [Indigo Movement]
Farnira’s Anoixe [dub]
Something a bit different from Birmingham’s Farnira. Lovely laidback tune!
Sixth Ape’s Red Rocks [Free]
“Red Rocks was inspired by a volcano just on the outskirts of Reykjavik. What made it special for me was the red rocks shinning through the white snow. A combination of stunning landscapes and the ice cold temperatures made Red Rocks a dream to write”.
IZ’s Apart [dub]
Can’t fault this one. Shame it’s a clip but makes it all the more enjoyable! Looking forward to hearing the full tune.
Goosensei’s Fiyah [Dubs Alive]
Valac’s Orpheus [dub]
We’ve been fans of Valac since discovering them around the time of our DSF win earlier this year. The boys have been fairly quiet since but have been cooking up some serious heat that we hear is forthcoming on a few different imprints in the coming months…
Peace, love and respect.
