New Music

This edition marks our 40th edition of New Music. Not bad going! Here’s Justify‘s latest selection of the SoundCloud uploads he and we have been listening to recently.

As always, please let us know if you’re feeling (or if you’ve got something we have to hear)! And don’t forget you can shout us via Twitter or Facebook (or email the usual addresses) to submit music…

FKOF - New Music

Krease’s Smoke & Mirrors [dub]

Brum’s Krease is a fairly consistent regular here at New Music but this week’s addition is a slightly different affair than what we’ve featured before. Tune!

Boca-J’s Indian Dub [dub]

This one’s intriguing. Seems to mix a number of rather broad influences – Oriental, grime, dubstep and few others. Look forward to hearing the finished tune!

Argo’s Solidz [dub]

More weight from our boy Argo – drawing from his previous work and bringing it bang up to date. Big tune!

Arkwright’s Solvent [dub]

This one’s massive. But that’s what we’ve come to expect from Arkwright – good to see him living up to expectations!

Deadroom’s Oracle [Elastica Records]

We’re big fans of this new Elastica release. Deadroom’s smashed it! Pick it up from Juno here.

Egoless’ Guiding Star [dub]

Pretty sure this producer can do no wrong. Egoless with the forthcoming on Lion Charge and with tunes like this who can blame J:Kenzo for snapping this Croatian musician up!

Apostle & Matrices’Pineapple [dub]

Lovely laidback vibes from these two. All about the jazzy bass music!

Love The Cook’s Double D remix [forthcoming Phantom Hertz]

It’s big, it’s brutal and it’s a bit of a beast. Great work from LTC – watch L Nix’s original and this drop on Phantom Hertz soon!

J*Rose’s Rubber Bands [dub]

There are very few female producers in dubstep (that we’re aware of). Hopefully we’ll start to see more follow J*Rose’s lead – this one’s massive!

The Illuminated’s Blaze remix [forthcoming Mindstep Music]

The Illumi bros debuted this in their recent mix for DJ Syte. Absolute fire – due out on Mindstep’s next release!

And, last but not least, our second year in business as a record label opened with an EP from DnB masters Kantyze. FKOFd013 is out now – available at all good digital retailers! Watch for the FKOF promo of FKOFd014 dropping very soon.

Peace, love and respect.
