SUBALT006 test press competition

“The next chapter in Subaltern’s back catalogue is one that will be received by our scene with open arms. It’s true underground dubstep of the highest grade! The Mercenary Ship EP is a futuristic selection of tracks created by Denmark’s finest RDG and UK’s badboy Hitman, with the title track reworked by American producer AxH.

“Opening track Mercenary Ship may remind you the early Kromestar productions; triggered by the overwhelming and technical LFO extravaganza that sits in both low-end and midrange. With Space Age, you’re set for serious space exploration, defined through the depth of the cinematic yet ambient background sounds. Tempa’s latest signee AxH joins the release with his Mercenary Ship remix, creating a track that is packed with an evil amount of pressure. His excellent use of percussion and sinuous growls alienates the weak, making this a deadly addition to the already heavy 12” release. With Data Flow as digital exclusive, both RDG & Hitman travel back in time to revive the old sound as we know it, giving it a refreshed outlook you can enjoy for days after.”
